Time

As we grow older, but more importantly wiser, time becomes more of a commodity than a constraint. In our youth, we are focused on increasing the passage of time. Reaching that next milestone is paramount. We strive to increase the passage of time, if only to track it by reaching a greater number of significant events. Monitoring time with any electronic device is adequate. We just need to see that it is still moving and that we are still getting somewhere.

But at some point, there is an epiphany when we realize that time is to be appreciated and guarded as carefully, or even more carefully, than the balance in your bank account. More money can be earned but once all of the sand is through the hourglass, more time is never a possibility.

Time is now something to be savored and tracked by a fine timepiece. The passage of time is not entrusted to an app on a smartphone but now is now measured with reverence and a timepiece equally fitting in value. This timepiece is to become an heirloom, one which has marked the passage of time with its hands and holds each significant memory deep within its intricate workings. A glance at this watch evokes memories of a lifetime of milestone achievements, moments shared, smiles exchanged and gentle brushes of that one special person’s most loving touch. Each tick of this watch echoes a lifetime of love, happiness, and memories. The images are not digitally saved or electronically altered because they are real and have been lived and experience in their truest and most memorable form. These moments are seen and felt with the heart.
