Everything ages and declines, and then it is gone, this is the fall season. Next, we mourn our loss, which brings a chill to our hearts, this is winter. But then as our hearts begin to heal and to warm, we see that there is always something new coming into our lives to help fill the void, this is the joy of spring. And with renewed excitement and adventure we enjoy what this new thing has brought to our lives.
These seasons apply to not only the people in our lives but also to every aspect of our lives. We are living, breathing entities and we continue to grow and change just as the world around us does. We must learn to welcome the gifts, experiences, and people who become a part of our lives just as we accept that we must someday say goodbye to them. Embracing the complete cycle of the season that we share with each gift allows us to open our hearts and fully understand and experience the next gift to arrive.
