Prayer To God After Accepting Him

I woke up this morning ready to begin a new day

I am going through my usual routine, accepting whatever comes my way.

 

Then…

 

I noticed something was out of place.

I searched and searched but I couldn’t find anything wrong.

However, at a moment’s rest, I realized I felt so free!

The “old me” hit the road when I accepted You.

I can deny it, sit right here and fight it

but I know there no cure for how I feel.

 

Getting rid of my wild and sinful ways will be tough but it will be worth it.
