The Golden Rule

When deciding how to act in a situation, I think that it is important to remember The Golden Rule…

Be all of the things that you would hope to receive from others…

RESPECTFUL

KIND

HONEST

GENEROUS

PATIENT

UNDERSTANDING

The list is long, and many times, we fail to think of all of the lessons that we learned over the course of our journey. For that reason, I would like to ask for your help to complete the list of all that we should be when interacting with others. Please add your thoughts and comments to the comment section below to remind us all of the proper way to treat others and how to be the best that we can be.

Thank you for your contribution!

  1. Presence—the gift of presence, focused attention here and now, free of distraction to diminish the preciousness of one-on-one time spent together, no matter how brief if may be.

  2. For me, I never allow my personal feelings to get into the way of what is right. I try my best to treat all humans the way I would like to be treated. With love, respect, kindness, thoughtfulness, understanding, patience, all the good things. 99% of the time I never get it back, but I don’t stop, because when I need it, I get it! I just get it from different people in different ways. And 100% of the time, it’s worth it, and is the most valuable and precious gift anyone could give me. Patience and Understanding goes along way.
