I recently discovered that my cable provider has 3 or 4 channels that air classic television shows. I got to say these are very interesting and downright fun!
I have discovered television programs I enjoyed when I was a kid like “Silver Spoons”, “Webster” and “Benson”.
I got to confess that I have gotten hooked on the “Benson” repeats. I record all the episodes onto my DVR. What a funny show! I love the banter between Benson and Gretchen! It was clean too! It didn’t get controversial. It didn’t take swipes. It just made you feel good!
One of these channels air classic game shows. I have come to really enjoy Match Game with Gene Rayburn. It’s much better than the one Alec Baldwin hosts! I tried to watch his version once but I got half way through and decided “forget it.” Give me Gene Rayburn any time!
Now if only one of them would start airing “Macgyver”.
Oh man! As the kids say, that would be sweet!
