Love lives in every heart, but only when it is shared do you reap its full benefit. Perfume in a bottle might be pretty, but it was created to fill the air with a sweet aroma. Fine wine is meant to be savored and enjoyed but first, it must be poured from the bottle. Music is simply ink marks on a page until someone shares the song with a voice or an instrument. All of these things reach their greatest potential when they are shared. But only shared love has the potential to change your life, the life of another person, or even the world.
Everything that is shared has the power to change something and someone. Whether it’s wine, perfume or love. Sometimes the change is not what we want, but change happens whether we want it or not. What we do with change, helps or hinders us. Love is a gift, it comes in many forms and ways, and sometimes heals and improves our lives and the lives of those who rely on us. The only problem I see is many humans don’t know what love really is. It’s often interpreted as something else and they all have their own ideas of what love is. Thank God some of us know, find it, share it, and make it last.
