Never begrudge the time that you invested in a relationship, even if it didn’t turn out as you expected. It might have been a job that you thought would turn into your dream career, or it could have been the relationship that you thought was with your soulmate. It is always difficult and painful when these situations filled with hope and plans for the future come to an end. But remember that they had a purpose in your life and it was an experience that you needed to learn from. Try to see through the pain and find comfort in the fact that you are now one lesson closer to what is meant to be for you. Know that the trials, frustration, and suffering will help you to make the most of the wonderful life that is meant to be yours.
Your gift, dear Kathy, is putting into words others can understand, words that go straight to the heart and the mind, what you are learning from your own experiences of living and loving. This is what it means to pass on the love, even through suffering, for to live is to suffer, and love, no matter what, makes it all a gift, like the pearl of great price. Your posts are powerful and this is one of the best.
The pain of rejection is never ending, of feeling not good enough for the girl that you love and walking away. How do you ever get over breaking your own heart.Yes I have learned from it but don’t believe I can ever forget walking from my destiny and soulmate..
I don’t think we are ever supposed to forget the pain or the lessons learned from it. That is what prevents us from making the same choices and returning to that same situation that didn’t work out. The only way to make peace with the pain and the loss is to believe in your heart that there is someone out there who is truly meant to be your soulmate and your destiny. And thanks to the lessons that you have learned from the previous relationship, you will be a stronger person who is ready to embrace your perfect mate. You deserve happiness…everyone deserves happiness, just have faith that it is out there and that you need to keep searching for it.
And the lessons we learned, will save us future pain and sorrow. Every experience in our lives, good or bad, there are lessons in it.
