Choose To Hear The Good! – A Guest Post By AMY TEMPLE

We are always going to have naysayers in our lives.

Someone who is not going to have too much belief in you and your abilities.

I know about that personally, having dealt with discrimination and rejection because of my learning disabilities.

Someone didn’t think I was going to be educable.   Someone believed I wasn’t going to have the capability to be independent.  Someone believed the best jobs I would ever have were low paying ones that would keep me in poverty.

I could have given up and believed every single one of them but with the help of very encouraging and supportive parents, I have fought for my rightful place on this earth.

Not everyone is going to like us and what we do.

The question is are we going to listen to them or are we going to listen to ourselves and our loved ones?

See The Good would like to thank Amy for her guest post. Amy is a Florida resident and has been self-employed in the dog care field since 2006.  She self-published a memoir titled “I Am Not Stupid” which is available through Amazon.com/I Am Not Stupid.

  1. You forget your guts and instinct. Only you know your weakness and strength. Only you know what you can do, can’t do, will do and want to do. It is beautiful that you know yourself because when you do, no one can tell you who you are. Stay strong.
