Good friends are people who choose to be a part of your life. They actually want to be there for the tough times so that they can support you and remind you of the good person that they know you are. And they want to be there for the good times as well to celebrate your successes and your happiness. They don’t care about how much money you have, the house that you live in, or the car that you drive. Good friends know that what really matters is in your heart.

This is so very beautifully expressed and so very true, and you, through your writing, your generosity of spirit, your joy of living, your wisdom beyond your years are that friend to me . . . and I know too many others. Thank you, dear friend!
This is so true, Kathy, and a good way to distinguish between true friends and those who don’t really care unless they are on the receiving end. Hoping this comment will publish and not be picked up as a suspected bot again. God bless you. Have a great week.
