Best Friends Come In All Shapes And Sizes!
I have been self-employed as a dog sitter for 13 years now. What started out as a temporary position has turn into being the best job I could ever have.
I get to spend most of my time with one of the most beautiful creatures God could have ever made.
Why would I put myself out there running the risk having my heart broken when the dog dies, the clients move away or they just don’t need my services anymore?
I’m not going to lie, it hurts especially the death. I confess the death broke my heart. I came to love the dog like she was my own.
But it has all been worth it. During the bad days knowing that I have it on my schedule to spend time with my four footed friends perks me right up.
When I think the world is going to end, all have to do is see the wagging of a tail, hearing the bark and feeling the lick of a tongue makes all of the trouble disappear.
There is no better gift than to have a dog in your life.
