I have been blessed with the best parents anyone could ever ask for.
Honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better set.
When medical professionals told my parents I would never be able to be independent because of my learning disabilities and when a job coach said that I would never live above the poverty line… my parents decided to not buy all that and continued to encouraged me to believe in myself.
Mom and Dad have never allowed me to give up on myself especially when I have had to deal with discrimination.
They are truly my best friends and I dread the day when I have to live without them in my life.
I know that I can take all of the lessons I have learned from them and keep on living.
However, they don’t have my permission to go anywhere anytime soon.
