Every day we are blessed to have a second chance in life.
We wake up and get to look out our window, all the mistakes made the day before forgotten… thanks to God’s grace and mercy being new each and every single day.
Despite this glorious gift, we have this tendency to relive all the times we messed up the day before and even way before that. For some of us, we keep allowing those bad memories to affect how we live today. It keeps replaying over and over again in this constant loop in our minds. It’s as if we feel we don’t deserve to start over.
But here’s the thing…we do! We have God’s forgiveness. We have His unconditional love.
We don’t need to keep reminding ourselves of all our past errors. And we shouldn’t let someone else do it either.
We are human. We going to goof up.
Stop torturing yourself and others whenever mistakes are made.
Give yourself and others a break.
