I Choose Jesus – Guest Post By AMY TEMPLE

Each and every single day we have a tempting offer to look back over our past.  All the best, all the worst has this tendency to creep into our minds.

We will remember with a smile all the pleasant memories we have experienced.  Our first date, our first kiss, prom, and graduation.  Getting married and having kids and so on.

But then we have the bad memories.

Despite the numerous good memories we may have, our mind has this tendency to reflect on all the bad we have gone through whether or not it was by our own hand or somebody else’s.

And we all know who is doing this.

Whether you are a believer or not, you know who the devil is.  This is one evil creature and does he hate us! He didn’t want us around in the first place so he is going to do whatever he can do to make us suffer!

So we all have a choice to make.

We can let the devil win by making ourselves miserable over our past.

Or we can accept God’s forgiveness through declaring Jesus as our Savior knowing that no matter what happens, He is right there to open up his arms to love you.

As for me, I choose Jesus.

  1. The bible says, ” the wise man sees the devil and hide from him, but fools walk in and are consumed.” I can see the devil coming, and I do hide from him. If I am going to go to hell, I intend to go on my own accord, not because of what others do to me. Bottom line, I won’t let Satan win.
