I wanted to reach out to everyone who has “met” Diana and her family through the See The Good posts and everyone else who can offer her prayers and good thoughts. Diana has received a new liver and was doing very well for several days. She left the hospital briefly and was able to see her 5-year-old son, which was a huge boost for her spirits. But sadly, things have taken a turn for the worse.
She is now battling a bad case of pneumonia, and infection, and a biliary leak into her abdomen. She is back in the ICU and undergoing yet another surgery as I write this post. As you can imagine, Diana and her husband had great hopes to be giving thanks for a new chance at a normal life tomorrow, but now that future is again in jeopardy.
Over the past few weeks, the family has repeatedly sent out thanks for everyone’s prayers, good thoughts, encouragement and generous donations to the gofundme account. And once again, it is clear that Diana needs another miracle to see the holiday season with her family. Please take a moment today say a prayer, send her good thoughts or donate to her account.
Many of us are caught up in the hectic schedule as the holiday season begins, but we need to take the time to remember the purpose of this season. Giving thanks, thinking of others and sharing all of the gifts in your life with those in need are what this time is all about. Please, share the love in your heart with Diana and her family. They all are praying for a miracle and your thoughts, prayers, and kindness can help make it come true for them.
