A Thanksgiving Lesson – Guest Post By AMY TEMPLE

This week we celebrated Thanksgiving.

This is a time when we come together as a family and enjoy the wonderful blessings God has given us.

I remember one particular Thanksgiving when I was a teenager.  I had been visiting with my great-grandma before we went out to eat with the rest of the family.

When they came to pick us up, my great grandma’s dog ran out!

Since I was the only one wearing pants -with the exception of my grandfather, of course – I was elected to go after her while everyone else gathered in a circle in the middle of the backyard with the hope of capturing her.

Fortunately, it worked and the dog was quickly brought inside.

It’s another example that you never know what will happen during the holidays.

But at least the food is going to be good.

See The Good would like to thank Amy for her guest post. Amy is a Florida resident and has been self-employed in the dog care field since 2006.  She self-published a memoir titled “I Am Not Stupid” which is available through Amazon.com/I Am Not Stupid.
