Your career and what you choose to do for a large part of your life has value. It is the way that you support your family and how you contribute to society. That is its value. It does not define you, determine your value or change who you are.
If you change your career or lose your job, you are still the same inspiring and unique person that you have always been. You are adding value to the job you choose to do, not the other way around. Be proud of the work that you do, but never believe that it defines you or justifies your value. You are defined by what is in your heart, the person that you choose to be, and the way that you live your life.
