Courage is not about finding the strength to go on. It is about choosing to take the challenging path rather than the easy way out. And I have never seen anyone who has more courage than Diana! She is fighting every day to get stronger and be able to return home to her family.
The past few days, she has been treated to a “spa day” by her sister and the hospital staff, taken several walks, and expressed her desire to get back home to a normal life. And all of this is from a lady who was not expected to see the 20th of December this year.
But Diana is committed to beating the odds. She is filled with the courage and desire to fight for what she loves most, her family. And she will not be stopped. Even on the days when she could have easily closed her eyes and given up, she made a choice to fight this immense battle.
We tend to overuse the word hero in today’s society. Athletes, public officials, and even actors are referred to as heroes for achievements that might be special but not heroic. However, I am sure that everyone who knows of Diana will agree that this lady personifies all that is a true hero. Please continue to pray for Diana’s fast and complete recovery so that she can return to her family.
Thank god Diana is doing better. I pray she will be able to go back home to her family soon. God knows that little boy needs his Mother. Diana has the strength to fight and when her strength has weakened, her will to survive will keep her going. I know because I move many times by will when my strength weakens me. So Diana indeed will be better, if not be strength, then by will. Go Diana, we are praying and cheering for your recovery.
