I’m sure that, like me, most of you have a long list of things that you “need” to accomplish today. And I will be the first to admit that there is nothing wrong with wanting to make the holiday perfect for those you love. But don’t forget to take the time to enjoy your Christmas Eve day and evening with those you love.
Too often, we forget that what’s really important is who is sitting around the table for a holiday meal, and not what is on the table. So don’t stress over a dozen side dishes and six desserts. Instead, enjoy more time with your family and guests, create memories that will last a lifetime, and don’t forget to be thankful for the opportunity to share the holiday with loved ones.
Lllooovvveeelllyyy. I agree. Christmas really brings out the humanity in most of us. Many of our happiest memories are at Christmas. Isn’t that wonderful? At Christmas, we get to see and hear from families and friends we haven’t heard from all year. Christmas opens our hearts, minds, and memories more than any other time of the year. Make happy memories at Christmas and all throughout the year. And learn from the sad ones, then turn them into happiness.
