Are we loving who created us? Guest Post By GEORGE CALLEJA

On different occasions, I have heard people say… ‘How can I love God who created us?’.

Is it possible to love God who created us? Well, I think it is possible to love God who created us.

Two ways to love God who created us is by loving our neighbour and by loving nature.

To love God, we are to let the unborn babies to live, to grow and be part of society. We are to provide food for those who are finding it difficult to have a decent meal each day. To provide a decent place for the homeless to live in. To help the drug addicts to overcome their problem and seek new pastures in their lives. Of course, there is much, much more how we can love God who created us, through loving our neighbour.

How about nature? Are we loving nature, the birds, the animals, the rivers, the sea, the land, etc? Are we protecting the nature as God wanted us to? Loving nature is another way of loving God.

So yes, there are different ways how to love God. Let’s start by loving our neighbour and loving nature.

  1. For me, not loving God is like not loving your parents. And some mothers and fathers do make it hard for their children to love them. But for the life you have and if you really love your life, then there are certain persons thank for it. God is first. And through forgiveness we can thank our parents and others who have helped us over the years.

  2. Mankind sitting in judgement of God, that’s ironic as God has just had his second coming and is not happy with what he saw. Evil greed, adultery, in fact every one of ten commandments been broken. Not to mention the damage we are doing to Earth, so now he has given us one last chance to change our ways and repair our planet. Earth was entrusted to mankind to take care of as a place for happiness, love and kindness. We sure have failed God on all counts.
Yet we crazily pass judgement on God, hoe arrogant are we.?

  3. Good word, George. And we can love God simply by meditating on what Jesus did for us on the cross. How could we not love the One who loved us so much He was willing to die for us? He is so worthy of our love. Happy New Year to you and your family. May the blessings you receive in 2020 far exceed anything you have experienced before. God bless.
