It doesn’t matter where you live, what you do for a living, or how much money you have in the bank. All that really matters is what is in your heart. That is what defines you and how you will be remembered. Everything else is just the wrapping for the real gift, that is you.
I agree, it’s like the truth. It is closer to us than we think. Many times, it’s hidden deep within us waiting on us to check ourselves first.

As a man thinketh in his heart, so he is. Yes, it is the heart that truly matters. Man speaks from what is in his heart, so it is important that our hearts are in tune with the Lord and His word so that what we speak and what we are is what He wants for us. That is what we will carry into heaven–the contents of our hearts.
