Success is no longer measured in dollars earned, the square footage of your house, or the money you have spent on possessions. We have evolved to understand that success is measured in the happiness you gain from the experiences in your life, the love that you share, and the good that you pass along to others during your life.
This statement is another “keeper” as I love quotes that focus on the core of what our lives are all about: (1) happiness from lived experiences; (2) love shared with others; and (3) good you pass along to others and future generations (generativity). Thank you so much, once again, dear Kathy, for sharing your gift of saying a lot with few words so we, your readers, can remember the wisdom and live it in our choices, thoughts, words and actions throughout our full and busy days—happiness, love, good!!!!
That works only for some of us. We are all successful until we start to measure and compare the size or level of our success to that of others. Plus, success means different things to different people.
