Often times, people speak of changing the world but rarely do most of those people follow through. They claim that changing the world is too big a task for a single person. But what they fail to grasp is that any significant change begins with the effort of a single person. Each of us has the ability to change our tiny part of the world. And unless we are willing to make that effort, no one else will join our cause.
But when you decide to spread joy and happiness in your tiny corner of the world, others will join you. When you want to change the world, start by changing your world and then conquer the world by increasing your reach one small area at a time. Anyone can do it. All you need to have is desire, dedication, and the conviction to be the one who really does change the world.
Actually many people who say they want to change the world have, they do it on a smaller scale. We don’t hear about it, that doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. A kind act, a kind thought or a kind idea that is needed and is used to change something, helped someone to do better and be better. Sometimes that tiny change opens a door for you thousands of miles away, and you thank God not knowing where it’s coming from or how it got there. The business of negative news creates more income than positive news. What we should do is show more positive news. Show the good side of our world more than the bad side. Lots of people are doing good things in our world.

FROM DIANE:
I would like to share an excerpt from my book published last summer–“It Is Written: My Prayer Journey into the Heart of God”–which I think fits in with your post today.
Change my altitude and my attitudes will change.
Change my attitudes and my motives will change.
Change my motives and my thoughts will change.
Change my thoughts and my words will change.
Change my words and my actions will change.
Change my actions and my life will change.
Change my life and my world will change.
Change my world and the lives of others will change.
Change the lives of others and the world at large will change.
It starts with having a spirit of humility, then a change of attitude. When you follow it through, there is no telling how many people will be affected by the small changes we make in our own lives that will make changes in the lives of others. Maybe the problem with some people who say they will change the world and don’t is the pride that accompanies the whole idea. Pride can cause a huge roadblock to accomplishing good changes, but humility can open doors that can be opened in no other way.
