Dreams are like a movie trailer. You are getting a glimpse of what could be your future if you are willing to pay the price. But unlike getting into a movie, the cost is more than just the price of admission. You must pay with dedication, drive, and faith in your dream if you want the epic to come to life.
Good one, but dedication, drive and faith has it’s own price range too. It’s how much you are willing to pay that makes the difference. And sometimes, some of us pay too much. How much are you willing to pay for the success of your dreams?
You bring up a great point, Annelise! Sometimes we do begin to follow a dream only to discover that the price is too high or that our desire has changed. There is no shame, only wisdom, in letting go of a dream that you no longer desire or feel is right for you. We all need to make these choices based on what is best for ourselves and those in our lives. Sometimes you find your real dream when you are on your journey to what you thought was a dream but later discovered was not right for you. All that really matters is that we understand what it takes to get to where we want to go and that we must propel ourselves there… dreams never come looking for us. We must go to our dreams.
