All of your yesterdays are in the past. They are memories, experiences, and lessons that you can never go back and change. But they are also a part of who you are and must be carried with you forever. While memories, experiences, and lessons are filed away in your brain, regrets must be carried in your heart. And the weight of a single regret can be a heavy load to carry.
Yep, I agree, regrets are a heavy load to carry. And it sticks to you like hairs on your skin. Even after a shave, the hairs always grow back. But once you learn your lesson and make amends, the regrets can no longer put a claim on you. If you believe that all things happen for a reason, and you can find that cause and reason, learn from it, accept it and move on, regrets will be afraid to visit you. Let regrets be afraid of you by accepting what life throws at you, and learning from your mistakes.
