Expect And Accept The Unexpected – By AMY TEMPLE

There seems to be this need to always rush, rush, rush to get things done.

It’s like we have put ourselves on this deadline and if we don’t reach them, we begin to literally panic!

Having witnessed this on several occasions, I have wanted to tell these individuals to “calm down”, “chill out”, “take it easy”, “it won’t be the end of the world if it doesn’t get done in time”.

I am not talking about work, of course, because deadlines are necessary there but that is only where they ARE required!

I’m talking about how to live your life.
Life is about being responsible… taking care of yourself and your family.  Paying bills and such.

However, it is not about being a full blown worrywart.  It’s not about freaking out when your ideas and/or plans don’t turn out the way you feel they should.
If this year has taught us anything, it’s to expect the unexpected.

When this year began, did any of us think that we would go through a global pandemic?  No!   It just happened.    Could it have been avoided?  Who knows?  Maybe. Maybe not.  There is no point in wracking our brains trying to figure it out.

We are not the ones who are in control.  We don’t have a say in what happens.

So how about we all just cool down and remember to breathe.

Take it all one step at a time, one day at a time.

It’s really going to make it all so much more enjoyable, trust me.

  1. Amy, this is a great reminder that we are NOT in charge of what happens in the world, but we do have a choice in how we respond. We must confront our fears (False Evidence Appearing Real) with love (Lasting Omnipresent Vital Energy) as we make choices in how we think, speak and act and we will see our world and our reality transformation into a beautiful life in spite of all the challenges including pandemics! Thank you for bringing this lasting wisdom to our attention, especially today.
