
When you are on a budget, you learn to remove the items from your shopping list that are nonessential. It’s a concept we all need to learn and practice from time to time. But why do we not apply the same careful planning to our time? We know that our days are limited, and free time can be even more valuable than cash on occasion.
So why do you not remove the nonessential activities from your day or week to have more time to invest in family, friends, and things that make you happy? Create a budget for your time and focus on what really matters to you.
Excellent advice I needed today to reinforce what I’ve come to recognize as more important to me now as I grow older and yet still have goals to achieve. Once again, dear Kathy, thank you for being my e-Guru! What I love about your daily messages is they are brief and to the point. I receive so many other e-mails that are so lengthy I can’t possibly read them all nor discern the “take home” message.
