Simply A Person

Children think in simple terms to grasp all that they are learning about this great big world every day. A new person is a friend or a stranger. It is that simple. But there is no energy wasted to continue to put labels on that person. They are simply a person. That is enough to satisfy a child’s mind. Is it possible that as adults, we choose to overcomplicate our evaluations based on what we think we know about a person’s life or choices? Would it not be wiser to fall back to friend or stranger and stop judging others by parameters and characteristics that we are projecting on them before we have any factual information?
