
Life is like a car race. There are many ways to win, but it cannot be done in the first few laps. Instead, it requires a steady pace, a steady hand, and good decisions. When you choose poorly, the crew may have to patch your car back together to get you back on track. Unlike a car race, though, in life, your toughest competition is yourself.
I love this because I’ve always said we are here to create, not to compete with others but to compete with ourselves! What I’ve never liked about competing with others is how when it’s over, we label one as “the winner” and the other as “the loser.” To me, a loser is someone who gives up too soon, because as you say here, it’s endurance and learning as you go and never giving up. Never!!!!
