Finding Your Happiness – By AMY TEMPLE
It’s in the silence when we learn the best life lessons. Happiness and peace are already inside of us. There’s no reason to keep searching for it on the outside.

There are no roadmaps, or one size fits all answers for the challenges in life. However, one bit of advice will always be helpful- never stop doing your best and searching for the solution that is best for you. This is the only sure way to get past the difficult time and find success and happiness.
Consider the people in your life and the impact they have on it. What are they like? How do they behave? How do you feel about yourself when around them? Life is always about the choices you make. A big choice that you alone get to make is who you share your life with. Choose good people. Choose people that you admire, that respect you, that will challenge you.
They say success has a thousand fathers, and failure is an orphan. What if I told you it wasn’t true? What if, instead, success is yours and yours alone? It’s a culmination of what you decide, what you do, and, more importantly, what actually takes place. You can choose to share it with others, but it’s truly yours in the end.
Everything in life is about your perception. What appears small and insignificant to you could be huge to someone else. And what seems to be an insurmountable problem today could appear much more manageable after a good night’s sleep. So never give up or feel defeated. Instead, keep searching for a new perspective that provides you with your desired solution.
Walking down the beach that we call life, we can see and experience many wonderous things. Unfortunately, you also end up getting sand in your shoes. The lesson is pretty simple. Focus on what is important, and realize the water is steps away.
You can’t be successful in your past and your present. Thrive on as a survivor of whatever you have had to overcome. Learn from your mistakes. Keep pressing forward. Live life to the full. It’s way too short to waste. If you look around and all you see is anger, frustration, unhappiness, and pain, you are what you see and believe is deserved. It is a self defined and built cage you have placed yourself in. Stop choosing the known quantity of what you know best. Instead, force a change to focus on what is good. One step at a time.
Being open to what comes next is as important a part of healing as the scar that forms over the wounds. We scar to help us remember what went wrong and why it’s bad to keep making the same mistakes. Don’t ignore them, and don’t conceal them. Wear them as badges of honor. You were open when you got that scar. Choose to be open when the time comes. Choose opportunity
They say love is blind, and we have all seen examples of this. Blind to what love says you deserve or should be treated like. Blind to what unhappiness you tolerate to avoid being alone. Blind to the fear of the unknown. Real love isn’t blind. It’s the clearest and sharpest vision you have. It isn’t avoidance. It is acceptance. Love isn’t fear. It is joy. Love isn’t defended. It is celebrated.
