Emotional pain is like a hot rock that keeps burning into your skin. But the pain does not stop when you decide to let go of the stone. Instead, that is just the first step in the long process of healing. It will take time, patience, and a lot of TLC for all the pain to go away.
A true friend will wipe your brow and your tears away. A true friend will offer support and encouragement. But a true friend will never rob you of the life experience by doing something for you. Show your respect and appreciation for your loyal friend by understanding and accepting your responsibility rather than blaming your friend for not giving you a cheat code for life.
Don’t let 2020 be the reason for your sadness and failure. Choose to make it the reason for your success and gratitude.
