Dear friends In view of the Coronavirus pandemic, I am providing three Christian ebooks for FREE to be downloaded through Smashwords until the end of April 2020. The three ebooks are ‘My little book of daily prayer’, ‘Yes… I will follow Him’, and ‘Come to Me’. The reason why I am making these Christian ebooks for FREE is to bring hope to everyone, to receive His peace and comfort. I hope that you enjoy reading these ebooks…
We are all basically stuck at home for the foreseeable future. And the way I see it, we have two choices. You can sulk around like you have been grounded for some minor offense or even a mistake that was not your fault. Or, you can choose to take this time and make it the best that it can be. You are in your own home and can do pretty much whatever you want. And…
In this world, we don’t always get to pick where we are going or be in control of our own destiny. And right now, many of us feel like lost ships being tossed about by a raging ocean. But this is one of those times when you need to focus on why you are here rather than how you got here. Individually, none of us have the power to fix the situation. We must patiently…
While a great deal has changed for everyone in recent weeks, the most important things in this world will never change. And it seems that all of them I can trace back to the lessons that my parents work so long and hard to teach me: Treat people the way that you want to be treated. A little kindness goes a long way. Don’t judge others. You have no idea what burden they are carrying…
In many parts of the country, spring is arriving. Birds are singing, flowers and trees are blooming, and the sun is hanging around a little bit longer each day. All of these are signs that nature is continuing to move forward. Even if all of the humans in the world have altered their lives because of this virus, Mother Nature will not be held back. She is an unstoppable example for all of us to…
We all have a lot to learn about what is going to be our new normal, at least for the next few weeks or months. But we also have the opportunity to learn a great deal about ourselves. Think about all of the things that you used to do each day that are no longer important. Were you doing them because they were important to you, or was it only to impress or fit in…
An individual’s ability to accomplish great things is limited by the hours in the day, resources, personal energy, and more. But a leader can inspire great accomplishments in an unlimited number of individuals. Great leaders change the world from behind the scene, without a spotlight, and without looking for credit or recognition. A great leader’s satisfaction and reward come from within each time someone else reaches a goal, changes the world, or shines in the…
During this time of uncertainty, let us all remember not to be afraid. God is with us. We can trust in Him. We don’t have to be afraid because we are worth more than some evil pandemic. We don’t need to be afraid. All we need to do is simply believe. Our hearts don’t need to be filled with trouble nor fear. He is our helper. We can – and – should cast all our…
I have heard this phrase more and more lately. But it was not until a text conversation with my Mom that it all seemed to fall into place and make sense for me. Thank you, Mom, not just for this but for your love, support, and always being there for me! As we all sit at home, longing to get out of the house and go just anywhere, it is an excellent time to think…
Having a plan is an essential piece of success. No one meanders their way to the top. But it is equally important to grasp that your plan can’t be carved in stone. It needs to be fluid or adaptable to meet your current situation and changing needs. Most of the world didn’t see a pandemic on the horizon when they planned for 2020. But it is here, and we all need to find a way…
