Science promises us that every glass is full, but life is all about what you choose to put in your glass. Will you be inattentive and just let your glass remain full of air, a colorless odorless gas? Or will you spend your journey filling your glass with rich, colorful memories brimming with emotions and lessons which can only be acquired by living each day to its fullest? Will you learn to search for the pearl of wisdom in even your darkest day? Good days and bad days are inevitable but seeing the true value of each day and each lesson might only occur after time has passed and your perception has changed. Don’t cheat yourself out of the opportunity to learn and grow from even the most painful events in your life. Simply accept that their full meaning is not yet understood. Much like driving during a heavy rainstorm, looking forward everything is difficult to see and discern, but when you look out the back window of your car it’s amazing how clear and recognizable that same scenery becomes. A new perspective on a different day can bring clarity, allowing even a painful event, to be remembered as a life-changing moment.
Very nice piece indeed! For many, holding a regret or bad choice is the key to growth, I feel you couldn’t move forward without it. I’d hope that others read your words.
