As parents, we sometimes forget that our children spend a great deal of time looking up to us. They watch what we do and learn far more from what they see rather than what we tell them. In a sense we are more than a mirror for our children, we are a looking-glass which provides a glimpse of what they can be and achieve in their future. Be the role model and project an image of what you hope your child becomes.

Very true. And for those of us who are not parents, we can still be a good example not only to the children around us but also to other adults in our lives. We even need to be examples to those we don’t know, people we meet in the marketplace. Our attitudes and actions do speak louder than our words and have much more impact on others. But when our words and actions line up together, that impact can be so much greater.
