I just wanted to extend my thanks to all of you who sent me birthday wishes. I had a great day spending it with my family. We all stuffed ourselves silly!
As I turn another year older, I find myself looking back at my life.
Any of you who have been following me know that I have dealt with some tough situations over the years.
I admit I did waste a lot of time wondering why it all had to happen but now I’m totally done with it.
No more “Oh woe is me! People have been so mean to me! Why? Oh why?”
I’m not the only one who has had bad experiences but I am not going to waste any more of my time going over it. It’s giving those responsible too much power!
I’m moving forward. God has my back and if there is someone who doesn’t, well…
I can get over it!

I am glad you got over it. So many of us have wasted moments in our lives wondering about the cruelty of humanity. I don’t. It takes up so much of our time that could be spent being happy or making our loved ones happy. I expect cruelty and kindness from humanity. Good and bad. Many things in life come in twos. Dwell on happiness, it can be contagious. Sadness will come and stay longer than happiness. But if we dwell on happiness, sadness will have nowhere to stay.
