Many of you have been following the story of Mila, a young lady who has more courage and strength than you can imagine. She has been battling cancer and enduring chemo since last year, and it is time for her to face the next challenge. Next Wednesday, Mila is scheduled for surgery to remove the tumor from her arm. And while she remains in good spirits and determined to beat this monster, your prayers for a positive outcome would be much appreciated. Even after the surgery, she has months more chemo to face and challenges that many adults would never be able to overcome. But with everyone’s prayers and support, she can win the battle and regain the happy childhood she deserves.

In closing, I want to pass along some excellent news about Niko, Mila’s brother. His tumor was removed last week, and the test results have come back as benign! So that is one victory for the family. And we are praying for nothing but good news to come as Mila continues to fight like a little warrior to overcome “the C-word.”
