Perfect?

No one’s work is perfect, not the artist, not the writer, not the doctor, and not the person who washes your car. And that is because none of us are perfect. Our work reflects who we are, our work ethic, our beliefs, and even our faults and shortcomings. But it is that true mirror of ourselves which provides the personality in our work and allows others to appreciate it and connect with it, as another imperfect human being.

  1. So very wise, Kathy, and so very, very true. We are all perfectly imperfect. What I’m learning as I age and shift from ego-centered to soul-centered consciousness, is how to unite my wounded ego and spirit-filled soul through forgiveness of self and others. It’s not easy but it’s necessary and the load lightens as I keep on keeping on. Your daily posts certainly help by providing fuel for the journey.
